A friendly match is on the cards between Senegal and the Comoros for the upcoming international break
The match is expected to take place after the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Senegal are reported to have found their friendly opponent for the upcoming international break. The Lions of Teranga are set to face the Comoros on 4 October.
According to the Senegalese press, the match will be played at the Vélodrome in Marseille, France. This international friendly would allow the Senegal national team to fine-tune their tactics ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
However, the Senegalese Football Federation has not yet confirmed that this friendly match against the Comoros will go ahead. If the fixture is confirmed, it will take place after the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Lions of Teranga will face Mozambique on 24 September in their opening match before travelling to Ethiopia five days later, on 29 September, for their second match.
