A former Real Madrid player might find himself at Barcelona

Manchester United is looking to offload Raphael Varane and reportedly intends to offer the 30-year-old defender to Barcelona, as per O Jogo. The player, who was part of France's World Cup-winning squad in 2018, has drawn dissatisfaction from the club's coach, prompting Manchester United to seek his transfer.

Varane previously played for Real Madrid from 2011 to 2021, winning numerous titles, including four Champions League trophies and three La Liga championships. He moved to Old Trafford in the summer of 2021 for €40 million. Since then, the defender has appeared in 79 matches for the Red Devils, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Currently, Varane's contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2025, and Transfermarkt values him at €25 million.
