Details: According to Globo, José Mourinho personally called Vinicius Junior several times during the offseason. In these conversations, the Real Madrid head coach assured the winger that he would play an extremely important role in his plans.

The Portuguese manager went beyond just talking to the player. Mourinho also informed Real Madrid's president that he wanted to keep Vinicius at any cost and pressed the club leadership to speed up work on renewing his contract.

In this way, the coach personally got involved in the situation surrounding the future of one of the team's key players, making it clear to both the player and the club's management how highly he values him.

It's worth noting that Vinicius is under contract with Real Madrid until June 30, 2027. Transfermarkt currently values the Brazilian winger at €140 million.
