Reports suggest that a lack of playing time at Al Hilal has convinced Núñez it’s time for a change, and Juventus have emerged as the top contender for the Uruguayan as they look to find a worthy competitor for Vlahović.
Darwin Núñez joined Al Hilal from Liverpool in the summer of 2025 for €53 million. The Uruguayan featured in 24 matches for the Saudi giants, netting 16 goals and providing 3 assists, but lost his spot in the starting lineup after Al Hilal signed Karim Benzema.
Núñez’s current contract with Al Hilal runs until 2028, and his market value is estimated at €25 million according to Transfermarkt.
