Manchester City secured a 3-1 victory over Chelsea in the 23rd round of the English Premier League. Pep Guardiola gave debuts to two newcomers—Marmoush and Khusanov—in this match.

The Uzbek defender made an error within seconds, leading to a goal for Chelsea. Overall, he looked very nervous and struggled to handle the pressure.

"When you’re in a situation like that, it’s as if your head is in a tumble dryer. You make one mistake, and it just snowballs. I feel sorry for the guy," commented Jamie Redknapp on Khusanov's performance.

His colleague at Sky Sports, Gary Neville, also supported the young defender.

"When you watch Khusanov, he looks like he’s trembling. His teammates need to rally around and protect him. This guy is only 20 years old, and those minutes were probably the hardest of his life."

In contrast, Omer Marmoush's performance pleasantly surprised the experts. The Egyptian had several chances to score and played an excellent match overall.

"Marmoush impresses me. You can see he’s going to be a real threat. Fans come alive when Marmoush has the ball. Paired with Haaland, they could form a great partnership," Gary Neville concluded.

With this victory, City overtook Chelsea in the standings and climbed to fourth place.
