Scaloni is not convinced by Mastantuono.
Details: According to journalist and insider Gaston Edul, 18-year-old Real Madrid midfielder Franco Mastantuono will not make Argentina’s final squad for the World Cup.
Head coach Lionel Scaloni reportedly wasn’t impressed with Mastantuono’s form, as the youngster has frankly had a disastrous season.

At the moment, Argentina’s official squad list is yet to be announced, so Scaloni could still change his decision.
Mastantuono joined Real Madrid in August 2025 from Dutch side River Plate for €45 million. He’s played 35 matches for Los Blancos, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
