Winger Hakim Ziyech could make a return to Chelsea from his loan spell as early as winter, as reported by the Turkish outlet NTV Spor.

Sources suggest that Galatasaray is not overly pleased with the performances of the Moroccan player. Currently playing for the Istanbul-based club on a free loan, Galatasaray holds the option for Ziyech's free transfer. However, his displays are reportedly not meeting the expectations of the Turkish team, leading to considerations about sending Hakim back to Chelsea.

Ziyech is heading to the African Cup of Nations, and upon his return, he might find himself back in London. The current contract of the Moroccan with Chelsea is set to expire in 2025.

Recall that on February 14, 2020, Chelsea reached an agreement to transfer the player for 40 million euros, and the move was completed in the summer of 2020. On October 28, he scored his first goal for the Blues in an away game against Krasnodar (0:4) during the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

As reported by OptaJoe, in that Premier League season, no player created more chances per match than Hakim Ziyech in the game against Sheffield United - with 6 created chances and 2 assists.
