A chance for the young Brazilian! Endrick could feature against Manchester City amid Mbappé uncertainty
On the eve of the decisive Matchday 6 Champions League clash against Manchester City, Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso is cooking up some unexpected surprises.
Details: According to Marca, Los Blancos boss Xabi Alonso has shifted his preparation focus and introduced a new approach—dubbed the 'Endrick plan.'
During the latest training session, Alonso held a separate talk with the 19-year-old Brazilian and spent the entire session giving him tactical instructions and personal guidance, strongly indicating that the youngster could start. Sources say this level of focus on the forward took many inside the squad by surprise.
The main reason? Ongoing uncertainty around Kylian Mbappé’s fitness. If Mbappé is unavailable or can only play a limited role against City, Alonso could make some bold attacking changes.
So far, Endrick has played just 11 minutes this season—back in early November against Valencia. But with his suspension ruling him out of the upcoming La Liga match against Alavés, the Champions League could provide his big opportunity.
Reminder: Real Madrid legend Guti predicts a crushing win for Los Blancos over Manchester City.
