The carousel of managers in Italian football keeps spinning. Massimiliano Allegri has returned to Milan, and now Lazio have brought back their former boss as well.
Details: The Eagles' press office has announced the return of the 66-year-old coach as the team's head manager. Sarri replaces Marco Baroni, who led the team throughout last season but failed to secure European qualification.
Lazio have signed their returning coach to a two-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year. Other specifics of Sarri’s agreement with the Biancocelesti remain undisclosed.
Reminder: Sarri returns after a 15-month absence, having left his post as head coach in March of last year following a disappointing run, capped by a 2-1 defeat to relegation-threatened Udinese.
