According to Brooklyn, he is a victim of abusive relationships from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. Brooklyn claims his parents have controlled him his whole life, never allowing him to make his own choices. He also revealed they opposed his marriage to Nicola Peltz, which ultimately led to his departure from the Beckham family.

“I don't want to reconcile with my family. No one controls me—I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. Throughout my entire life, my parents have controlled the narratives about our family in the press.” Brooklyn explained his behavior.
