The young Cameroonian may not play again this season.

Harouna Djibirin returned with an injury from the latest gathering of Cameroon’s U23 national team. As a result, he was ruled out of the Ligue 1 match against Rennes on Saturday 11 April. According to the French press, the young Cameroonian then failed to turn up for training on Monday 13 April. He has therefore not yet returned to competitive action.

However, medical examinations have revealed a worrying ankle injury. This could keep him off the pitch for several months. According to some sources, Harouna Djibirin will be sidelined until the end of the 2025–2026 season. The 19-year-old will have to focus on his rehabilitation in the hope of regaining his fitness for next season.
