Reports indicate that the player himself is open to a move and is ready to part ways with the Rome-based club in the current transfer window.

A key factor in the negotiations is that London’s Arsenal, from whom Tavares previously joined Lazio, retains a 40% sell-on clause for the player. As a result, Lazio are determined to secure maximum compensation for their defender.
