A big heart: Eintracht Frankfurt defender Robin Koch visits children’s hospital
Eintracht Frankfurt defender Robin Koch spent his day off in a meaningful way by visiting a local children’s hospital, reports Bild.
Koch brought joy to young patients who have to spend the holiday season in the hospital. He interacted with the children, signed autographs, took photos with young fans, and even brought pizzas for them to enjoy.
“Visits like these have been close to my heart for many years, and I truly enjoy them. Bringing smiles to children’s faces always brings me joy and reminds me of the wonderful things we can achieve by being role models,” Koch shared.
The hospital staff also appreciated the visit, happy to see the children uplifted by such a positive experience.
“No child likes being in the hospital, especially around Christmas. It was wonderful to see Robin Koch take time to distract our patients from their daily hospital routines. For many kids, this was a true highlight — you could see it in the smiles on their faces,” said Chief Physician Professor Steffen Kunzmann.
