A €70 million interception! Tottenham and Manchester City set to hijack Atlético's transfer move
The battle for the young Belgian talent is reaching new heights.
Details: According to insider Ekrem Konur, Tottenham are planning to join the race for Lille’s 21-year-old striker Mathias Fernandez-Pardo, aiming to significantly bolster their attacking options.
Previously, Atlético Madrid had already made an official bid for the player, offering €35 million including bonuses. However, Lille president Olivier Létang has no intention of letting the player go for that amount and is only willing to negotiate if offers start at €70 million.
Manchester City are also closely monitoring the situation, as they consider the Belgian winger a potential target to strengthen their squad.
It’s worth noting that in the 2025/26 season, Mathias Fernandez-Pardo made 41 appearances for Lille across all competitions, netting 8 goals and providing 7 assists, and also made his debut for the Belgian national team. According to Transfermarkt, the player’s market value is currently estimated at €35 million.
