A £7 million miss: Gareth Bale hits a fan instead of the hole

Former Real Madrid and Wales footballer Gareth Bale missed out on a staggering £7.3 million ($10 million) prize.
Details: At a tournament featuring football icons, Bale needed to score a hole-in-one to claim the jackpot. Instead of making history, the Welshman became the protagonist of a bizarre incident.
Winding up for a powerful shot, Bale launched the ball at a blistering 211 km/h (131 mph). But instead of finding the 181-yard hole, the ball veered wildly off course and landed in the stands, striking one of the spectators.
Had Bale hit the target, the prize money would have been split as follows:
- £2.9 million — for Gareth Bale himself;
- £2.2 million — to a charity of his choice;
- £2.2 million — shared among three lucky punters who had bet on his success before the tournament.
Despite missing out on the super prize, Bale delivered a solid performance in other rounds. In a singles showdown against Jimmy Bullard, he managed to claw back from "4 down" to snatch a draw, securing half a point for his team (Team World). However, in the overall standings, Team England edged out a 20-19 victory to retain their title.
Reminder: Shocking news. Jeffrey Epstein wanted to attend the PSG vs. Real Madrid match.
