€50 million for France's hero! Chelsea target World Cup 2026 star
Manu Koné's World Cup performance has once again put him on the radar of Europe's elite clubs.
Details: According to Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea have added the 25-year-old Roma and France midfielder back to their transfer shortlist. Koné impressed the London side with his displays at the World Cup, and now the Blues' management is seriously considering him once again.

Chelsea’s interest is directly linked to the uncertainty surrounding Enzo Fernández’s future. If the Argentine midfielder moves to Real Madrid this summer, the London club may accelerate their pursuit of Koné.
Roma are not ruling out selling the Frenchman, but have no intention of letting one of their key players go on the cheap. The Italian club will demand at least €50 million just to open negotiations.
Earlier, Roma turned down a €40 million offer from Atlético, underlining the club’s tough stance on a possible Koné departure.
Reminder: Xabi Alonso reveals whether Enzo Fernández will stay at Chelsea.
