€41 million for a 20-year-old talent! Newcastle seals high-profile transfer
Newcastle is on the verge of completing yet another blockbuster signing.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle has reached a full agreement with Monaco for the transfer of Aladji Bamba. The total package is worth €41 million, and the French club has already authorized the player to undergo his medical examination.
As previously reported by Fabrice Hawkins, the midfielder has already made his way to England, where he will complete the final formalities before the move. Monaco’s management has given the final green light for the deal.
Bamba’s personal terms with Newcastle have also been fully agreed. All that remains for the player is to pass his medical and sign the necessary paperwork, after which the club will be able to officially announce the transfer.
It’s worth noting that Bamba plays as a defensive midfielder. He turned 20 on July 14, and Transfermarkt currently values him at €18 million.
