4 goals in 8 minutes: Villarreal's madness against Mallorca

The final match of La Liga’s 20th round between Villarreal and Mallorca delivered something extraordinary.

Details: Within just 28 minutes of play, Villarreal managed to score four goals against their southern Spanish visitors.

Remarkably, all four goals came in an 8-minute span, between the 20th and 28th minutes. Each goal was scored by a different player: Logan Costa, Álex Baena, Dani Parejo, and Yeremy Pino.

This feat is unprecedented in Villarreal’s history.

Interestingly, Villarreal and Mallorca are direct competitors in the league table, battling for a top-four finish. Villarreal is currently in fifth place, with Mallorca in sixth.

Reminder: It was recently reported that Villarreal forward Nicolas Pépé continues his relationship with a former adult film star.
