However, it’s worth noting that the outcome of the match was virtually decided in the opening half-hour— the hosts found the net four times in just 32 minutes and completely dominated the game from the outset.

The only time the team established such a commanding lead even quicker was in February 2018, when they stormed to a 4-0 advantage against Bourg-en-Bresse by the 20th minute (final score: 9-0).
Mason Greenwood, in particular, once again shone in this encounter. The English striker was one of the standout performers, notching up a brace and providing an assist, playing a pivotal role in Marseille’s emphatic win.
