José Mourinho could receive another spectacular reinforcement for his Real Madrid attack.

Details: According to Fussball News, Real Madrid have placed Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka and Manchester City playmaker Rayan Cherki on their shortlist as the Spanish giants consider strengthening their attacking line. No official negotiations have started with either Premier League club at this stage, but initial contact with the players' representatives could reportedly take place soon.

The financial demands could make either operation extremely difficult. Arsenal would reportedly require at least €150–160 million before even considering negotiations for Saka, while Manchester City would expect a nine-figure fee of more than €100 million for Cherki. At the upper end of Arsenal's reported asking range, the combined starting price for the two players would therefore already exceed €260 million.

Both English clubs are said to be firmly against selling their attacking stars and regard them as important figures in their squads. Nevertheless, Real Madrid have not abandoned their interest and are continuing to assess possible options for Mourinho's attack.

It is worth noting that Cherki has made an excellent start to the 2026/27 season at Manchester City, recording six goals and two assists in his first 11 appearances across all competitions. Arsenal, meanwhile, announced earlier this year that Saka had signed a new long-term contract with the club.
