Diogo Dalot's long-term future at Manchester United is suddenly far from guaranteed.

Details: According to Football Insider, Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers for the 27-year-old Portuguese defender in 2027 if the right proposal arrives. Dalot is not being actively pushed towards the exit and remains part of Michael Carrick's plans, but the club are preparing significant changes to their defensive line.

Dalot has remained an important option for Carrick and has regularly featured at right-back this season. For that reason, United are not currently desperate to part ways with him, especially while the squad lacks depth in defensive positions. However, the situation could change if a sufficiently attractive bid arrives.

The Red Devils are planning a major defensive overhaul in 2027 and could use money generated from player sales to finance new arrivals. A new left-back and centre-back are currently among the club's main priorities, meaning several members of the existing back line could see their futures reassessed.

It is worth noting that Dalot is 27 years old and, despite the possibility of a future sale, remains part of Michael Carrick's plans for Manchester United for now.
