2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations: Senegal to face Morocco, Algeria and Kenya in Group A

Senegal has been drawn in Group A of the group stage of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The Senegalese Lionesses have been drawn in a tough group. Mame Moussa Cisse's team will have to battle it out against the host country, Morocco, whom they played in the previous AFCON, also in Group A. The Atlas Lionesses beat the Lionesses of Teranga (1-0) on the third day. Both teams finished top of their group with seven points each, but Morocco finished in first place thanks to a better goal difference.

This will be a reunion between the two teams less than a year after the last AFCON. In addition to Morocco, Senegal will also face Algeria and Kenya in Group A.
