2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations: Cameroon drawn against Ghana, Mali and Cape Verde

The draw for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations took place on Thursday 15 January. Following the draw, Cameroon's women's team learned who their opponents will be.

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon were placed in Group D. They will face the Black Queens of Ghana, the Eagles of Mali and the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde.

These are the three opponents that the Cameroonian women's national team will face in the group stage during the AFCON, scheduled to take place in Morocco from 17 March to 3 April 2026.

This will be the first AFCON with 16 teams, compared to the 12 that previously competed. It is thanks to the increase in the number of teams following the qualifiers that the Cameroon women's team has been rescued.
