2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup: time and venue for Tanzania’s Group B match against Canada

The Tanzanian women’s team will face Canada this Friday, 11 September, at the Katowice Arena for their third and final group stage match.

After two heavy defeats in a row in Group B, Tanzania will take on Canada to round off the group stage of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Poland 2026. However, the Tanzanian side have virtually no chance of progressing to the next round.

Having lost 4–1 to Brazil in their opening match before going down 5–1 to England on the second matchday, Tanzania sit bottom of Group B. However, they will face Canada in their final group stage match, with the Canadians also seeking their first win of the tournament.

Following their draw with England in their opening match, the Canadians lost to Brazil on the second day. Tanzania will therefore face a Canadian side determined to win in order to keep their hopes of continuing their campaign in Poland alive.

This final Group B match between Tanzania and Canada will be played at the Arena Katowice. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 pm GMT.
