2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup: Benin’s official line-up against Argentina revealed

The Amazons are set to play their second Group A match in a few moments’ time at the Arena Katowice in Poland.

Ahead of the kick-off of this crucial match against Argentina, Benin head coach Ouzérou Abdoulaye has revealed his starting XI. The Beninese manager has made no changes from the previous match against Mexico on the opening day.

Only Ebi is missing from Ouzérou Abdoulaye’s starting XI due to injury. The attacking trio of Honfo, Soukou and Gandonou are all in the starting line-up.

This second match for Benin against Argentina at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, taking place in Poland, is of great importance for the Amazons. Having secured their first point in the tournament in what is their first-ever appearance, the Beninese side will be looking to win this Tuesday 8 September to set their sights on the knockout stages.
