€18 million — and here we go! Roma finalizes transfer of Argentina national team star
Roma has secured its target in the negotiations for Nahuel Molina.
Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, the Giallorossi have reached a full agreement with Atlético Madrid for the transfer of the Argentine right-back. The total deal will amount to €18 million, including bonuses.
Roma has also reached an agreement with Molina on personal terms. Atlético was keen to see the player depart, so negotiations wrapped up swiftly.
The Argentine defender will sign a long-term contract with the capital club. This marks Molina's return to Italian football, where he previously played for Udinese.
It’s worth noting that in the 2025/26 season, Molina made 46 appearances for Atlético across all competitions. In La Liga, the right-back played 26 matches, scored twice, and provided two assists. Transfermarkt currently values him at €15 million.
