Negotiations regarding the possible transfer of PSG forward Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid this summer are nearing completion. According to various sports media outlets, the Frenchman has agreed to the proposal to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to reports from FootMercato, Mbappe may receive an additional monetary bonus from Real Madrid if he becomes the recipient of the Ballon d'Or, which is awarded annually to the world's best football player. The amount of this bonus could be up to 15 million euros. This is an order of magnitude higher than the bonus received by Karim Benzema in 2022, which amounted to only one million.

It is anticipated that Mbappe will sign a five-year contract with Real Madrid, under which he will earn between 15 and 20 million euros per year. Additionally, he will receive a transfer bonus of 120-150 million euros, which will be paid out over five years.

The question of Mbappe's image rights remains open. The parties have not yet reached a final agreement on this issue: the player wishes to retain between 70% and 90% of the rights, while Real Madrid insists on 50%.
