£130 million transfer bombshell! Liverpool and European giants set sights on Brazilian talent
The battle for the Premier League’s Brazilian sensation is gathering serious momentum.
Details: According to renowned football insider Ekrem Konur, 20-year-old Brazilian Bournemouth winger Rayan has attracted interest from several leading European clubs, with Liverpool showing the greatest determination.
At present, Bournemouth’s management has not received an official offer for the player. The club’s hierarchy have taken a firm stance: a sale of the forward in the January transfer window will only be possible if interested parties trigger the £130 million release clause included in his contract.
The potential deal also includes a significant financial share for his former club. Brazilian side Vasco da Gama retained the right to 4% of any resale fee, which, if the full release clause is paid, would earn the club approximately €36 million when converted into Brazilian reais.
It is worth noting that Rayan joined Bournemouth from Vasco da Gama in January 2026. During the second half of the 2025/26 season, the Brazilian made 15 appearances for the English side in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing two assists. According to authoritative outlet Transfermarkt, the player’s market value stands at €60 million.
