One of the NBA's most monumental records, standing for over 60 years, has finally fallen.

Details: Oklahoma City Thunder's leader Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has officially surpassed the legendary Wilt Chamberlain for the longest streak of games with 20 or more points. Shai now stands alone atop this elite list, showcasing a level of consistency that once seemed impossible in the modern era of basketball.

Chamberlain's record halted at 126 consecutive games, holding strong since January 1963. Now, with his streak beginning on November 1, 2024, Shai reached his 127th straight 20-point performance tonight against the Boston Celtics.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Shai's streak is still alive. Every time he steps on the court, he has the chance to raise the bar even higher.

Reminder: Rivals gave Bam Adebayo a standing ovation after he surpassed the legendary Kobe Bryant in total NBA points.
