€125m well spent? Madrid's record signing is destroying his teammates in training
If you pay a club record fee for a teenager, this is exactly what you want to see: Yan Diomande is already dancing past Real Madrid's first team in training.
Details: A clip from Valdebebas shows the 19 year old Ivorian gliding through Madrid's senior stars with ease, and it has quickly gone viral. Diomande joined from RB Leipzig this summer on a seven year deal until 2033, in a package worth up to €140 million, the most expensive signing in the club's history.

The winger arrived with serious credentials: 13 goals and 9 assists in his breakout Bundesliga season, more completed dribbles than any other player in Germany, and all four of Ivory Coast's matches at the 2026 World Cup. He has already made his Madrid debut off the bench in a friendly win over Schalke and taken the No.25 shirt, and under Jose Mourinho he is pushing for real minutes in an attack featuring Mbappe, Vinicius and Bellingham. Judging by this footage, his new teammates are getting a daily reminder of why Los Blancos beat PSG to his signature.
It's worth noting that Diomande's rise has been meteoric: just 18 months ago he was playing at an academy in Florida, and he is now the most expensive African player in history.
Reminder: Here we go! Fulham reach agreement to sign Real Madrid midfielder Manuel Ángel.
