UEFA has unveiled its symbolic team following the latest round of the tournament, and this time the selection is as balanced as it gets.
Details: The Team of the Week features: Olympiacos goalkeeper Tzolakis; defenders Van Dijk (Liverpool), Gundersen (Bodø/Glimt), Jafarguliyev (Qarabag), and Pedro Porro (Tottenham); in midfield are Thuram (Juventus), Fermín López (Barcelona), and Navarro (Athletic); while the attacking line is formed by Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid), Simeone (Atlético), and Suárez (Sporting). Each player represents a different club.
For now, the Champions League Player of the Week remains unknown.
It’s worth noting that all matches of the next Champions League round will take place on Wednesday, January 28, at 21:00 Central European Time.
