€100 million hijack! Premier League giants enter the race for Diomande
Manchester City are preparing a powerful move in the battle for one of the hottest stars on the transfer market.
Details: According to renowned insider Florian Plettenberg, Manchester City's management have verbally indicated that they are ready to offer €100 million for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.
No official bid has been submitted by the English club yet, but Manchester City representatives have already held several rounds of talks with the RB Leipzig board.
In doing so, the Citizens are looking to seize the initiative from Liverpool and Real Madrid. Both clubs have already tabled offers of around €100 million for the Ivorian forward, but the German side rejected their bids. Madrid's offer, in particular, consisted of €90 million guaranteed and an additional €10 million in bonuses.
PSG are also monitoring the situation, but so far the Parisians have not made an official approach.
It's worth noting that last season Diomande made 36 appearances for RB Leipzig, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists. Transfermarkt values the 19-year-old winger at €90 million.
Reminder: Real Madrid submit €100 million bid for Yan Diomande as talks with RB Leipzig continue.
