100 matches, 45 clean sheets, Edouard Mendy imperial with Al-Ahli Saudi
The Senegalese international goalkeeper continues to impress since his arrival in Saudi Arabia.
Edouard Mendy has cemented his role as a pillar of the Saudi team since joining the Saudi Pro League in 2023. On Monday 23 February, the Senegalese international reached the milestone of 100 matches with Al-Ahli Saudi.
It was during the postponed match of the Matchday 10 of the Saudi championship, played against Damac SC. To celebrate his 100th cap, the Senegalese once again distinguished himself with a solid performance. He kept a clean sheet until the final whistle, which marked his team's victory (0-1).
Thanks to this latest impressive performance, Edouard Mendy now has a total of 45 clean sheets in 100 matches with Al-Ahli Saudi. The Senegalese goalkeeper has also conceded 97 goals in his 100 matches with the Saudi club.
He is the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets (10) this season in the Saudi Pro League. With his contract extended until 2028, Edouard Mendy, who has already won the Asian Champions League with Al-Ahli Saudi, still has great things to offer his Saudi club.
