At the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, a historical record for consecutive participations will be repeated.

55-year-old Georgian shooter Nino Salukvadze has officially been included in the list of participants for the Olympics. It is hard to believe, but this will be Salukvadze's tenth Olympic appearance in her career.

Salukvadze first participated in the Olympics in 1988 in Seoul as a member of the Soviet Union team. Since then, she has not missed a single Olympics. In 1988, Salukvadze became an Olympic champion, and in 2008 in Beijing, she won a bronze medal.

In Paris, the highly experienced Georgian will compete in the 25-meter pistol shooting event. At the previous Olympics in Tokyo, she finished 25th in the 25-meter event and 31st in the 10-meter event.

Previously, Canadian Ian Millar also participated in ten consecutive Olympics, competing in equestrian sports until 2012.
