Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, 25-year-old Liverpool and Hungary attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has given his verbal agreement to Real Madrid's offer regarding a possible transfer.
It's reported that Szoboszlai initially requested a new contract from Liverpool with a weekly salary of £350,000. However, the Reds' management has yet to respond to his request, prompting the Hungarian to seriously consider Real Madrid's recent interest—a club fully prepared to meet Szoboszlai's personal terms.
Liverpool do not see Szoboszlai's departure as a realistic scenario, but if the player puts pressure on the management and stands his ground, the Merseyside club may be forced to let the Hungarian go in exchange for a massive fee.
Dominik Szoboszlai joined Liverpool in 2023 from RB Leipzig for €70 million. This season, the midfielder has played 35 matches for the club, scoring 10 goals and providing 7 assists.
His current contract with the Reds runs until 2028, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, stands at €85 million.
