Atalanta to sign young talent from Udinese!
The Bergamo side are actively reinforcing their defensive line and have entered negotiations to sign one of Serie A’s most promising centre-backs.
Details: According to renowned insider Nicolò Schira, Atalanta are making serious moves to sign Danish defender Thomas Kristensen from Udinese. The club from Bergamo has already submitted an official offer of €18 million plus an additional €4 million in bonuses. However, the Friulani are hoping to cash in at least €25 million for their player, especially given the strong interest from clubs in both the German Bundesliga and the English Premier League.
The towering 24-year-old Dane (standing at 1.98 m) has been playing for Udinese since the summer of 2023 after transferring from Aarhus. Kristensen’s current contract with the Udine club runs until the summer of 2028, and reputable portal Transfermarkt values the centre-back at €12 million. In the 2025/26 season, Kristensen featured in 31 matches across all competitions, notching three goals.
