Official: Ivorian striker Ange Lago joins Dijon until 2029
The 21-year-old has signed for the Ligue 2 club on a free transfer.
As expected, Ange Lago will play in the French second tier. The Ivorian striker has officially left Marseille for Dijon.
Ange Lago has signed a three-season contract. The Ivorian striker’s new club has paid no fee to Marseille to secure his services. However, the Marseille club has negotiated a buy-back clause set at 2 million euros. Marseille would also retain 50 per cent of the proceeds from any future sale of the Ivorian striker.
With this move to Dijon, Ange Lago hopes to get more playing time so he can continue to develop. On his arrival in Dijon, the 21-year-old Ivorian striker expressed his delight.
“I’m discovering a new league, a new city and a new team. I’m delighted to have signed here. I’ll continue to work hard to keep developing my career. I’ll give my all for DFCO.”
