Mainz 05 has announced that Bo Henriksen is no longer the head coach of the team.
Details: The club’s management and the Danish coach have mutually agreed to part ways, with the decision taking immediate effect.
The Danish specialist took charge of Mainz in February 2024. During his tenure, he oversaw 68 matches, with his side winning 27, losing 23, and drawing 18 times.
This season, Mainz has endured a dismal run, collecting only six points and sitting at the bottom of the Bundesliga table, making this decision hardly a surprise.
The name of the new head coach has yet to be announced.
