Details: Erling Haaland has made up his mind and is prepared to take the next step in his career, potentially leaving Manchester City as early as next summer. Despite strong interest from Paris Saint-Germain, the Norwegian does not view the Parisian club as the right choice for him. According to El Nacional, Haaland is eyeing La Liga, where both Real Madrid and Barcelona are eager to secure his services.
It’s worth noting that PSG would likely offer the most lucrative financial package, but Haaland is focused on achieving new heights rather than chasing money.
TeamTalk confirms similar reports, although the British publication suggests that Haaland will leave the team in the summer of 2026, rather than 2025.
Reminder: Haaland's contract with Manchester City runs until 2027. If the Norwegian doesn’t terminate the agreement prematurely, any club looking to acquire him would have to pay a hefty fee. According to recent updates by the statistical portal Transfermarkt, Haaland's contract value is estimated at €200 million.
It remains unclear whether the Spanish giants are prepared to shell out such a sum for Haaland, but it is certain that PSG will be in the race.
Haaland has been with Manchester City since the summer of 2022. In the current season, he has played ten matches, scoring eleven goals.
