Ivorian striker Ange Lago is set to join Dijon
Having seen little action with Olympique de Marseille’s first team, the young player is expected to leave the Marseille-based club soon on a free transfer.
Ange Lago is set to continue his career in Ligue 2. The 21-year-old Ivorian striker is expected to sign for Dijon, where he could enjoy more playing time and the chance to continue his development. According to reports from Sacha Tavolieri, Marseille and Dijon have reached an agreement regarding the Ivorian striker.
However, whilst Ange Lago’s departure will take place without a transfer fee, Marseille have nevertheless taken certain precautions regarding the future of their young Ivorian player. The Marseille club are reported to have negotiated a buy-back clause set at 2 million euros. Marseille would also retain 50 per cent of the proceeds from any future sale of the Ivorian striker.
If the transfer goes ahead, Ange Lago will leave Marseille with the aim of giving his career a new lease of life.
