The heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder expressed his intention to fight the winner between Tyson Fury and Olexandr Usyk for the title of undisputed champion in the heavyweight division. He declared his aim to "wipe out" the entire super heavyweight division and emerge as its best.

"If you've got all the belts, you've gotta fight me… It's still my goal to wipe out the whole division," - quoted American heavyweight by journalist Michael Benson.

Wilder's most recent bout occurred on October 15th last year, where he secured a first-round knockout victory over Finland's Robert Helenius. Deontay held the WBC heavyweight title from 2015 to 2020. In 2020, he lost to Tyson Fury, relinquishing the championship belt.

Earlier reports indicated that Wilder had resumed negotiations with Andy Ruiz Jr. for a potential bout. However, the fight between Wilder and Ruiz might not occur before 2024 as Ruiz recently underwent surgery.

The match between Fury and Usyk is set for February 17th in Saudi Arabia, where the IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO titles, held by Usyk, will be at stake along with the WBC belt belonging to the Gypsy King.
