End of an era approaching? Pep Guardiola stated that he is inclined to leave Manchester City

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola addressed questions about his future following the celebration of yet another Premier League title.

The City boss confirmed recent rumors that he might leave the club when his contract expires in a year.

"The reality is that I am closer to leaving than staying. We have talked with the club, and I feel I want to stay right now. I will stay for the next season. But during the season, we will talk and see," quoted Fabrizio Romano.

Guardiola has been at the helm of City since 2016. Manchester City claimed the English championship for the fourth consecutive time, securing 91 points and defending the top spot in the final round, a position also contested by Arsenal.

For City, this title marks their fourth consecutive and sixth in the last seven years. No team had previously managed to win the English Premier League four times in a row.
