The head coach of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, commented on the prospects of working in Spain.

The mentor of the Gunners avoided giving a direct answer to the question, emphasizing his love for his homeland.

"I am greatly drawn to my native land, our way of life, communication, culture, and this always prompts me to keep it constantly in mind," Arteta was quoted by Football Espana.

On May 15, Arteta received a prestigious award at the Spanish embassy in London. The coach was honored with the Royal Order of Isabella the Catholic.

The award is a Spanish civil order of knighthood and honor, which is bestowed by the King of Spain and the Grand Chancellor, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Arteta has been at the helm of Arsenal since 2019. The London team occupies the second place in the Premier League table, trailing Manchester City by two points with one round remaining in the championship. In the final round, the team led by the Spanish coach will face Everton.
