The club stays at a more or less good level only due to a strong start. Then, being under the rule of a new mentor, Andrea Sottil, it won six times in a row and did not lose for nine matches. However, “the Zebras” did not win again until spring, with the only exception – there happened a 1-0 success in the battle with crisis Sampdoria. By the way, the team has recently defeated the club from Genoa with a 2-0 score, and before that it shared the points with Napoli in its “championship” match. The higher mentioned results were followed by “dry” defeats made at the arena of Fiorentina and then by Lazio at the home arena. As a result, the club from Friuli has already rolled back to the 12th position – however, it has long been clear that the team is trying just to finish the current season.
