The ATP Finals in Turin are heating up, and on November 13, Carlos Alcaraz will face Andrey Rublev. Here’s my prediction for the match. Can the Spaniard redeem himself?

Alcaraz’s place in the ATP Finals was all but guaranteed, having secured two Grand Slam titles, which alone bring a significant number of ranking points, along with additional titles at Indian Wells and in Beijing. At 21 years old, he currently ranks third in the world. However, Alcaraz’s debut at the Finals took an unexpected turn, as he lost to Casper Ruud 1-6, 5-7. Despite leading 5-3 in the second set, he failed to close it out. While this season has seen some surprising losses for Alcaraz, he remains a strong contender for the Finals title.
Andrey Rublev
In comparison, Rublev’s achievements this season have been more modest. He captured two titles in Hong Kong and Madrid but did not progress beyond the quarterfinals in any Grand Slam, achieving that level only once. At 27, he is currently ranked eighth in the world. Rublev initially qualified as an alternate but made the main draw when Djokovic withdrew due to injury. Unfortunately, he couldn't capitalize on this opportunity right away, falling to Alexander Zverev in his opening match, 4-6, 4-6.

Both players will be motivated to win, having started with losses in the tournament. Alcaraz, as one of the top players globally, has much to prove here, and I back him to win with a handicap of -4 games.
