Since that moment, the team has made no progress, and this season they have only earned 2 points and sit in last place.
In the previous round, Bochum looked decent on the field of Augsburg but ultimately lost 0:1 due to Titz’s penalty goal. With Dieter Hecking’s appointment as head coach, Bochum has slightly improved and even picked up a point against Bayer (1:1), but so far, that’s still not enough.
