"They paid him more" Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper reveals the reasons for his departure from orlano Pirates! Brilliant Khuzway

Although before his departure it was expected that he would be the main goalkeeper of the team, his departure at that time was a surprise to most fans of the Amakhosi team. But now Brilliant Khuzway reveals why he left the team in 2018 and left for the Orlando Pirates abruptly.

Goalkeeper Cher played more than 30 games for Kaizer Chiefs, with the team he also won two league titles in 2013 and in 2015, but it seems that at that time he wanted to become the main goalkeeper instead of Itumeleng Khune.

In 2018, the player left the Kaizer Chiefs and went to the Orlando Pirates, but he was not lucky to represent them much after he suffered an injury in 2019 that forced him to sign a contract.

“I spoke to Dr Irvin Khoza a year before my contract ended [at Chiefs] and then called Bobby Motaung. He gave me a new contract, and I told him I’m not going sign it”

“Bobby told me that I must tell Dr Kaizer Motaung that I’m not going sign the contract; I called the meeting with Bobby, Dr Motaung, and the head coach then was Steve Komphela. They asked me where I was going, but I couldn’t say.

“I signed a contract with Pirates in October before my contract entered the last six months,” the ex-Chiefs keeper revealed. “It was a three-year contract, but the day I went to sign, Dr Irvin Khoza called me and said I must come to the office.

“So I went to the office, and he just gave me a five-year contract. The contract changed from the salary that I was going to get; I was happy to get the contract because the money went up.” Brilliant Khuzway said.
