In January 2024, the parties confidentially reached a settlement agreement requiring Camwood Capital to repay $11.7 million plus interest in installments starting September 30. However, the company has failed to fulfill this obligation.

"It is now clear that Defendants had no intention of making Plaintiffs whole when they entered into the Settlement Agreement," the suit states. "To date, Camwood Capital has not repaid even one dollar under the Settlement Agreement," the lawsuit states.

Smallwood’s attorney, Mark B. Sheppard, stated that his client has agreed to cooperate with investigators and has assisted in the ongoing investigation.

Smallwood began his NFL career in 2016 when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles. After leaving the Eagles in 2019, he went on to play for the Washington Redskins (now Commanders) and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mahomes’ home in Belton, Missouri, was broken into on October 6, around midnight. Details about what was stolen have not yet been disclosed. Kelce’s home in Leawood was targeted the following day, October 7. It was reported that the back door was damaged, and $20,000 in cash was stolen.

FBI representatives in Kansas City declined to comment on the Bureau’s involvement in the investigation.

Details: According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the 35-year-old player was pulled over on October 10 for speeding. Details: On September 30, a woman called 911, reporting an SUV driving so erratically that she feared for the safety of others, worrying that the driver "was going to kill someone."

Police arrived at the scene and stopped an Audi Q8. Behind the wheel was former Green Bay Packers player Eddie Lacy, who was recognized by one of the officers from his college football days with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Officers immediately noticed something was off. According to bodycam footage, Lacy had difficulty forming sentences, TMZ reports.

The former football player managed to tell the police that he had just flown in from Green Bay and was heading to his girlfriend’s house, which he claimed was only a few yards away.

However, during questioning, Lacy admitted he had been drinking before his flight, though he insisted he had only consumed one tequila shot.

Eventually, officers were able to get Lacy out of the car. Due to injuries he claimed to have sustained during his football career, some standard tests could not be administered. Nevertheless, a breathalyzer test was performed, revealing a blood alcohol level of 0.325‰.

When officers asked Lacy if he knew the legal limit for blood alcohol content in Arizona, he responded that he had previously been fined for drunk driving but failed to mention the legal limit of 0.08‰.

Lacy was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on the matter next month.

According to sources, Lacy was previously charged with drunk driving in March 2022, when his blood alcohol level was recorded at 0.247‰.

Reminder: Yesterday, we reported that another former NFL star, Jay Cutler, was arrested for driving under the influence while carrying a loaded Glock on the car’s console.
