Kaizer Chiefs' head coach Nasreddine Nabi has categorically denied rumors of his possible departure at the end of the season, despite the team's mixed results in the league.

Earlier in May, under his leadership, the team clinched the South African Cup, securing their first trophy in 10 years. Nevertheless, a string of disappointing league results has fueled speculation about the 59-year-old's future, with African Football suggesting that the club's management had already made a decision before the match against the Pirates, regardless of the outcome.

Following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Sekhukhune United, Nabi stated that these reports are unfounded and have only created chaos within the squad.

"I respect the press, but such rumors disorient the team and create the wrong impression. It's unprofessional, and it's not true. I'm getting calls from all over Africa, with people thinking I've already left the club, which is absolutely not the case," emphasized the coach.

It's worth noting that the draw did not improve the Chiefs' position in the race for an MTN 8 spot. The club now faces a must-win situation against Polokwane City on May 24 in the final round if they are to have any hope of making the coveted top eight.
