Woods became the first athlete to earn one billion dollars, with the majority of his wealth (about 90%) coming from endorsements rather than on-course earnings. Australian golfer Cameron Davis emerged as the champion of this tournament, despite not being considered a favorite or part of the contenders' list before the final round. Aaron Rai and Akshay Bhatia were seen as the frontrunners, starting the final day at -17 under par.

Interestingly, the odds for one of the trio - Scheffler, Schauffele, or McIlroy - to win are 2.45, while the odds that none of them will win stand at 1.4.

Additionally, it's worth noting that bookmakers are not optimistic about a victory for 15-time major champion Tiger Woods, as the odds for such an outcome are 100. However, for those who believe he will make the cut and play on the weekend, a bet with odds of 3 is available.
